S. Route 23 North, Waverly, Ohio, died 10:35 A.M. Tuesday May 21, 2013 at Country Glenn in Washington Court House, Ohio. (Pickaway County) She was born December 4, 1927 in East McDowell, Kentucky, daughter of the late Charlie Milford Tackett and Virdie Virgie (Clark) Tackett. Surviving are two sons, Clarence David Hamilton and wife Emilia of Lakeland, Florida, Donald R. Hamilton and wife Rita of Waverly, Ohio; a daughter, Barbara (Hamilton) Bixler McWhorter and husband Joseph of Palm Harbor, Florida, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Eddie Tackett of Lancaster, Ohio, Carmel G. Tackett and wife Mary of Chillicothe, Ohio, Elmer E. Tackett of Betsy Lane, Kentucky; six sisters, Nora White of Winchester, Kentucky, Mary Pfeifer and husband Jack of Grove City, Ohio, Lora Jean Ray and husband Curt of Grove, Ohio, Gracie Bell Gilbert and husband Lee of Waverly, Ohio, Romalue Howard and husband Wayne of Chillicothe and Flora Tackett and husband Lloyd of Chillicothe, OH. In addition to her parents and husbands, William Hamilton and Joseph Hawley Warrens; a great- granddaughter, Tatum Johnson, three brothers, Fedro, Curtis and Delmar Tackett; and two sisters, Lattie B. Tackett and Beatrice Williams preceded Magnolia in death. Magnolia attended South Shore Regular Baptist Church, and was the former owner and operator of the Hamilton Grocery in Alma, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 2:30 P.M. Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with John Pfeifer, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Omega Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
