Thomas Lewis had 3 wives. The third wife, Delilah Blankenship gave birth to Christopher Columbus Lewis. He is my 2nd great grandfather. Christopher married Nancy A Galloway and later moved west. If you know anything about this family, you know there are discrepancies as to Thomas Lewis ancestry. Thomas Lewis has indicated Portugal ancestry. Some researchers have linked him to the Warner Hall Lewis family. Probably NOT the case. I would love any information anyone can give me to understand the history of my family!
