James Power may have been a brother or son of Nathaniel Power. I believe that Nathaniel Power is somehow related to Holloway Power. They lived very close to each other in SC. Nathaniel Power went to AL. Holloway Power stayed or died there, I think. Holloway Power's son, John Power(s) left after 1800 for the west. They came thru the Cumberland Pass, were in KY where several children were born. One of his boys was named Nathaniel Pennington Power. Nathaniel Pennington Power was a brother to our Holloway Power(s). Their mother was Naomi Pennington, daughter of Jacob Pennington. It would be good to find James Power's land records, tax records in AL. Have you had any success? I wonder if James was one of the sons of Nathaniel Power?
