That also means that several family books are all wrong also. The Rice Family, The Allen Family, The Patton Family to name of few of the Floyd County Families that have written their family history to include Elizabeth Allen and Thomas "Tom" Alexander Walker as the parents of those 5 children. Besides the late Genealogist C.E. Shepard's records who had this couple as the parents. Strange all those families came up with the same couple. Anyway, the photo is legit because it is the Walker Clan as they are called of Prestonsburg,Floyd County, KY. We have no idea who is who in the photo. The father of these 5 children we discussed would have been deceased in 1850 and this photo is probably late 1800s so he wouldn't be in the photo. I'm sure though that some if not all of his children are represented in this photo and the mother Elizabeth. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
