That would make us related through this James's Maternal Grandparents George Jackson Allen, Sr. and Cynthia Patton. :) I started an Allen Facebook Group back in January 2012. We are just this week discussing this couple George Jackson Allen Sr. and Cynthia Patton and all their children. Your ancestor Thomas Alexander Walker's parents are the great mystery this week. We have all the children's spouse's parents listed except for Tom's. We feel though that he was named after his ancestor, Dr. Thomas Alexander Walker of Virginia.
