My name is Greg Harmon. Dolie Harmon was my grandfather. Most of what I know is what I've been told by my father (Dolie jr.) and other family. Most of whom have passed, unfortunately.Thats one reason I've been lurking on geneology sites, trying to fill in bits of family history. Dolie and another man ( a Wells) were ambushed by two brothers named Ike and Ebe Buskirk while trying to apprehend them somewhere on Daniels Creek. His wife, Doshia (Spears) was four months pregnant with my dad at the time of his death. My dad never saw his father. He was raised by his Mamaw and Papaw (Adam and Rebecca) until he was a teen, when he went to live with his mother and her new husband. I was un aware of his uncle Luther and that he may have revenged him I can offer some more details if you'd like to e-mail me. I also have photos of Adam and Dolie Harmon. Thank you.
