Joshua was known to have lived and maybe been adopted by Col.Joe Hewitt or Howard. Hewitt owned a Plantation in the Floyd County area. He was also the owner of Hewitt Stock & Slave. Hewitt sold his property and along with Joshua Bowlin moved to the Raleigh County West Virginia where Joshua passed in 1877. We are trying to find out Joshua's parent's names or anyone else that was married, related, siblings, children, ECT. (Looking for any documented proof). Other names associated with Joshua Bowlin are.
