William McBrayer was born about 1813 in Floyd Co., Ky and died March 1852 in Carter Co., Ky. He was the son of Ichabod McBrayer and Mary Stratton. Ichabod was born about 1780 in Broad River Farm, Rutherford Co., NC. Mary Stratton was born about 1782 in SC, and died after 1850 in Carter Co., Ky.
