I have contacted the Floyd County Times and they tell me that for any older obits which may have appeared in the paper? I need a look up of the archives at Big Sandy Community College? I have looked them up online but cannot seem to find contact info for the department I'd need...seems pretty student based. Perhaps I was told wrong? I am looking for obituaries for: WILLIAM B. STUMBO born: 31 January 1859 Floyd Co died: 29 July 1923 Floyd Co. *death record says above... Cemetery stone record says: born: 28 February 1859 died: 30 June 1923 his wife MARY J. ALLEN born: 14 October 1859 Floyd died: 10 December 1934 Floyd *No death record found as of yet... ANY HELP ON LOCATING OBITUARIES FOR ONE OR DARE I HOPE? BOTH FOLK WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!! More than willing to reimburse for copies...buy ya a cup of coffee and a piece of pie to refuel..etc. LOL!
