Does anyone out there know who the father of James Brown who lived in Floyd County from at least 1810 to after 1824? I believe him to be the father of Elizabeth Brown who married John George in 1822. I believe the Mary that is living in 1830 may be his widow. Would appreciate any information anyone can give me on this line. I'm not related, but a very good friend of mine is . . . she's got ancestors that go back to the beginning in Floyd County; she herself was born there as well.
