Scarberry, 55, of Chillicothe, Ohio died 12:35 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born March 21, 1957, in McDowell, KY, to the late Heston and Victoria Collins Scarberry. Surviving are sons, Jeremy Lemaster and Travis Henderson, both of Chillicothe, OH; the love of his life and soulmate, Kim Scarberry, with whom he lived; grandchildren, Alexis Devore, of Columbus, Ohio and Andrew and Darren Tackett, of Kentucky; sisters, Barbara Scarberry, of Byesville, OHIO and Betty Scarberry, of Bourneville, OH; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter, Crystal Denise Scarberry-Anderson; paternal grandparents, George and Ida Scarberry; and maternal grandparents, Dolly and Henry Collins. Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved telling jokes. He lived life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013. There will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home to help the family.
