He was the father of Armina Spencer and grandfather of Evan Silas Frasure both of Floyd. Armina who first married John Frasure and then Frederick Newsome of Pike County. Does anyone have any information on where George Washington might be buried. I know he remarried after the war and moved to Virginia, first to Wise County and then supposedly to Lee County Va in the late 1880's with his second wife Emaline Duncan. I have been told he died circa 1892 and is buried near Jonesville in Lee County though I have no formal proof of it. Anyone who has information on George Washington Spencer or Elizabeth Brickey Spencer or his second wife Emaline I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
