Surnames: Conley's and Wallings of Ky and VA Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/pAB.2ACI/5288 Message Board Post: Charles, How did you find out here name?Did you find it on a site that the public can search?Thank you sooooooooo much for this,its very confusing,"this family'as I may have mentioned before,every census I have found her son Napoleon P Conley on in Arkansas says he was born in Kentucky as well as his sister Jane Conley,but by 1840 they were in Va ,the census says she was born in Va,but by 1840 she was remarried to this John Walling and it shows a Napoleon B "Walling"not Conley,but it has to be him because he was born approx 1828,and it shows his wife as Sarah on this Census and his was married to Sarah Bishop of Va and their oldest daughter was named Louisa which is the only child showing on that same census,however some of Sarah and Napoleon's children they had later were born in Kentucky,we just cant find out "where"in Kentucky, I will try searching this Margaret Ann Savage being married to a Conley somewhere in Kentucky,I'm thinking she was either divorced or widowed and moved back to Va to be with her family,and we all know Census takers made thier mistakes,even these days,I think it was just a mishap on the last name because they only lived a few houses from each other.
