AOL is my mail service provider and all the Rootsweb messages have been coming through fine here. In fact, AOL has done a tremendous job this week filtering out the MyDoom (and variants) virus-laden files. This is the worst viral attack to hit Windows PCs - to date. I'm quite pleased with AOL's efforts. From a technical perspective (computing is my trade), it doesn't make sense for them to block all messages coming from the @rootsweb domain or even block Rootsweb mail servers at the IP level. Especially since most lists don't allow attachments. If the lists you subscribe to have the attachment option enabled, that might be what is causing a hold up, if you are missing messages. Anyone with AOL can look in their SPAM folders to see if some Rootsweb messages slipped through there. By the way, the KYFLOYD-L mailing list has odd delivery times. This has been going on for months. There are times when a post to a message board doesn't get sent out to anyone for hours. Sometimes even a whole day. It's very sporatic. That is a problem at Rootsweb itself and doesn't have anything to do with the recipient's mail server. I just make a point to peek in on the message board periodically instead of solely relying on the message delivery. Just my 2 cents. ..
