Still a little unclear but very interesting. I have only been doing family research for a short time and I have never been able to get past Archibald. My father is Budge Moore son of Beverage...grandson of Harry Lee...great grandson of Archibald...To the best of my understanding, Archibald was married to Sarah Nolan. I have always heard that Arch had changed his name from Jackson to Moore. Recently, my father told me that he had always heard that Arch took Moore as his name because it was his mother's maiden name. I would love to get any information from you that you are willing to share...and I would be glad to share any information with you that I have... I live within a couple of minutes from the Archibald Moore cementary and was just on the cementary this thursday attending the funeral of Edd Moore! He was the son of John and Zella Moore!
