Both are buried in the Mauk Cemetery. Saul or Sol may have been a nickname for Solomon. Clive is Grover Cleveland DeBord b 28 Aug 1891. I don't show an Ira in this family, but there was a daughter Ida B. born Sept 15 1871. The 1900 Elliott census for the widow Francis Deboard born Oct 1848 says she was born Oct 1848 and had 10 children with 8 children still living. That's something that is almost always correct in the census data; mothers may forget birthdates, but they very rarely forget how many children they have. 7 of the 10 children are listed in the 1900 census including Limry F born Oct 1884 (ie your Lennie) and Grover C. (your Clive) born Aug 1891. The 1880 Elliot census for Solomon and Mary J. Debord shows 5 children: John B. age 12, Sarah E. age 9, Ida B. age 7, Luciney J., and Amanda A. (prob Mauda A. in 1900) . Sarah Ellen Debord Parsons was one of her 10 children who died before 1900; John B. born abt 1868 was probably the other, since I haven't found anything on him after the 1880 census. I haven't found this family in the 1870 census, but I'm fairly certain they should have been in the Elliott County census. The Civil war pension application for Mary Francis Deboard filed 1912 from Elliott is very difficult to read, but I could make out the names of 3 children listed in that application: Willis, Minnie and Cleveland. Hurshel PS: Your father shows as Burley Barker son of Linnie Debord in the Carter County birth index; and he shows as Burl Baker (note Baker instead of Barker) in the Ky Death Index.
