Seeking parents of Elizabeth Bettie Risner born in 1834 and married about 1850 to John S. Patrick. In 1860 John S. Patrick age 23 is found living in Morgan County Kentucky with wife Elizabeth age 26, his mother Rebecca, and four children: Mary age 10, Nancy age 8, William Daniel age 5, and Thomas B. age 2. It is from William Daniel Patrick's death certificate that we learn that his mother's name was Betty Risner. 1854 Tax rolls for Floyd County Kentucky listed John Patrick and Michael Risner, Eli (Elias) Risner, William J. Risner, William Risner, James Risner Sr., Meredith Risner, Jacob Risner, and William Risner. This researcher believes one of these William Risner's is the father of John Patrick's wife Betty.
