If you are doing a family history of the Gobles, I have a great deal of data, and will gladly share it with you. My cousin, Jimmy Goble, wrote a series of true short stories about growing up in the household of James S (Heck) Goble, and put them in a book. The book is called Soup Beans and Cornbread. James S. Goble descends from Christian Goble. This line of Gobles are known as the German Gobles. You can fine a great deal of older information on this line if you go to the Goble Family Association webpage.
