From the information I have, he was born on 4/22/1858 in Floyd County. After his mother died in 1862, he was still listed in 1870 in the Floyd County Census with James and Jane Click. He was listed as 12 years old. That is where the trail for him ends. In a Pension report for Bailey, when it talks about his legitimate children, under his former marriage, it lists: Ann, Kier, and Newton Crisp and that Newton was the only one living and this report was dated on 12/1/1899. Any information on her would be greatly appreciated.
