My grandfather was James "Jim" Boyd of Floyd County KY. He was born on May 2 1900 and died in Pike County on December 20 1956. I know that he still has living realitives in the Dana and Tram area. James Boyd's father was Nelson "Nelse" Boyd of Floyd County KY. Mother was Rose Ann Patton. She died when he was around 14 or 15 years of age. His grandfather was Andrew "Andy" Boyd and his grand mother was Rose Ann Conn. All of these individuals are from Floyd County KY. His great grand father is likely to be John Boyd and great grandmother Nancy Daniels? Boyd. Rose Ann Conn 's parents were probably William and Sarah Conn. These individuals are listed on the 1870 Floyd County Census. He was known as Jim Boyd, with brothers Jack, Worley, Virgil, and Bill. Sisters Lucy and Ollie.
