He was married to Susannah Martin (I believe in 1874 or 76), his son was Alexander Morris, who married Quince Moore. Family story is that John Wes was shot and killed, but I can find no evidence of this anywhere. I am also looking for info about his wife Susannah. I am told she was Cherokee and I would like to reseach this heritage. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
