I found him in 1880 in St. Charles Co., MO, married to a relative of mine, Mary McCarty b. about 1836. I tracked them there thru an obituary of her brother who died in their home in 1878 in St. Charles Co., MO. The obituary says Martin's home was in Dog Prairie. The 1880 census says he was b. in MO and both parents b. in KY.
