April 22, 1904. T.J. and M. Caudill are doing business at the forks of Abbott creek, Floyd county, under the name of Caudill & Caudill. Their postoffice is Bonanza, but they hope to secure a new postoffice at their place under the name of Meed. _________________ From Knott County Historical Society's - A Century Ago This Week. Is anyone familiar with the Christian names of these men? Could not find a record yet as to whether they successfully establish the Meed/Meade Postoffice. Thanks for any information. Sincerely yours, David R. Smith, Pres. Knott County Historical Society, Inc.
