I've found him in the WWI Draft Registration listings, in the 1920 Census in Galena, Cherokee County, Kansas, and in 1930 in Heavener, Le Flore County, Oklahoma. He died there in 1934. I am trying to find out who his parents were. His father was supposedly born in Kentucky and his mother was supposedly born in Germany. He married Vinya De Lorenzo/Laura Lawrence. Can anyone help? I have good information coming down from them but it is spotty for them and going back. Just a census, some undocumented reports and the Revolutionary War pension affidavit that Masias witnessed. Elizabeth is alive and well on the 1860 census in Floyd county and living with Jarvey. Jarvey is listed with Evaline on the 1870 census with 3 young children. On a deed dated 30 Feb 1851, Elizabeth Elliott Hall's father, John Elliott, mentions her and her husband. I have to wonder where the author of the book got her facts. They don't seem to add up. There is some validity in some of the older research, but be careful using this as your source. I know personally. My entire family for several generations is listed in that book and not one name or date is correct. I knew Mr. Akers well. Mr. Akers came to my house, and the house of numerous relatives of mine, many years ago and wrote down the info before he published the books. Not one thing was transcribed correctly, not even my own name. Check and recheck before including any of that material as a documentary source. Research suggest that these fingers and toes that have no middle knuckle were passed on from the Brown family.
