    2. Annette Reitano
    3. I really appreciate the response given by [email protected]: Milly thank you. The James Hale you referred to in the 1910 census under David Kennedy is David's grandson. James is the son of Wesley Hale (son-in-law to David Kennedy) and Sarah Kennedy (David's daughter). I know there has to be a link somewhere, somehow, I just haven't been able to make the connection yet. There are so many clues and no proof. I believe that Haley Kennedy is the grandaughter of Andrew Jackson Kennedy and yet I can't prove it. Haley was buried in the Kennedy cemetery along with her Husband James Nelson Hale, Andrew Jackson Kennedy, Jane Stephens (Andrew's wife) and Elijah Kennedy (Andrew's son). Haley and James named their oldest son Andrew Jackson Hale. So many clues... It's enough to make a person go stark raving mad. 4 years of searching and counting and not much to show for it. There are some cannady's in Virginia that I have been checking on... Andrew Jackson was reportedly born in Virginia and I have yet to find him on any census in Virginia in his youth. I will continue the search. Thank you so much for your e-mail. It meant a lot to me. Thank you again. If I can be of any help to you please ask. Thanks again, Annette Reitano On Fri, Jun 12, 2009 at 1:00 AM, <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. Haley Kennedy (Annette Reitano) > 2. James Power may have been a brother or son of Nathaniel Power. I believe that Nathaniel Power is somehow related to Holloway Power. They lived very close to each other in SC. Nathaniel Power went to AL. Holloway Power stayed or died there, I think. Holloway Power's son, John Power(s) left after 1800 for the west. They came thru the Cumberland Pass, were in KY where several children were born. One of his boys was named Nathaniel Pennington Power. Nathaniel Pennington Power was a brother to our Holloway Power(s). Their mother was Naomi Pennington, daughter of Jacob Pennington. It would be good to find James Power's land records, tax records in AL. Have you had any success? I wonder if James was one of the sons of Nathaniel Power? There is a lot of surmise here, but still seeking evidence. Rose Power(s)Yarbrough nee Somraty Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
