Dear Patty, I am so sorry for your loss. Thank you so much for contacting us. The last time I emailed Tom, I told him I would let him know the next time I was in the Atlanta area, so we could get together and compare our family tree, as I also live in GA. I have been on the Justice roots e-mail list for about 13 years. Tom taught me so much about the history of our families. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to you, Kathe and all of Tom's family. Patty Moore Payne ( My mother and grandfather Justice were born in Lawrence Co, Kentucky)
Patty, I will miss Tom a lot! He and I have corresponded since around 1999, when we got together again after many years. I met Tom at Shaw AFB in 1962. He stood up for me when I became a US Citizen in June of 1963. We were at his place the last time we had a reunion. Please give our condolences to Kathe and to all the Justice family. May Tom rest in Peace. Bob and Cindy Alvarez On Fri, Jul 31, 2009 at 9:03 PM, John Justice < [email protected]> wrote: > Wow, thanks for the email. Wow, thanks for the email. I think I speak for most on this list that Tom will be missed in a big way. I am very sorry for your loss, and know that many of us have never met Tom in person, but have shared history and knowledge with him. He was the one doing the sharing as he had more information on the Justice family than anyone I know. This is a terrible loss and I am very saddened. Tom wanted Justice males to do the DNA test to strengthen the line and confirm his research. I hope those reading will do this in honor of Tom. Patty, please let us know of the arrangements, and give my regrets to Kathe. Thank you again. Patty, I will miss Toms occasional emails. Whenever he sent something it was worth viewing. I especially liked the one of the woman magician with the disappearing scarf. I think of Tom as a gentle giant. We will remember his family in our prayers.
