Listers; Can you help with any of the following individuals, who just happen to be some of my ancestors and relatives? Ursala Riddel was born 1828 in North Carolina -- would like a specific date and location. About 1845 she either married or began a common law arrangement with William Innman -- any information about him would be a bonus. The below listed children were born of this couple -- enumerated in the 1860 Census of Floyd County, KY for the household of Esau Davis. William Morris Innman was born 1847 in NC -- listed as William Morris age 13 born NC. Lucinda Ann Innman was born 1849 in NC -- listed as Lucy A. _____ age 11 born NC. Mary Jane Innman was born 1851 in NC -- listed as Mary J. ______ age 9 born NC. (The complete names for these children came from a cousin in Ohio whose father is a great-grandson of Mary Jane's. This cousin also shares another ancestor with me. This cousin shows that Ursala died in Floyd County, Ky on 10 Feb. 1900.) About 1853 or 1854 the family moved to VA and something happened to William -- would like to know what, when and where. About 1855 Ursala married Asa Davis -- the 1860 Census of Floyd County, KY lists him as Esau -- would enjoy the details of the marriage. The same 1860 Census lists children of Asa and Ursala as: Thomas A. age 2 born KY -- my great-grandfather. He and his family are well documented, and many of the descendents attend the family reunion held each summer. Joel age 2/12 born KY. >From the recollections of an Aunt and my mother, their grandfather, Thomas Asa Davis, had the following brothers and sister: Frank, who when he came to visit his grand nephew Jacob Winton "Wint" Davis about 1934 was serving on the Federal Bench in Knoxville, TN. Wint's family was then living in Clearfield, TN. Frank, as the ladies recall was born about 1868 in Floyd County, KY. Willie, who helped move "Wint" from Harlan County, KY to Clearfield, TN. Willie's son Melvin was killed in a car wreck shortly after he and Willie returned to their home in Floyd County, KY. Francis, her husband owned the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Harlan, KY. A cousin also shared the following information, which he gleaned from "History of Harlan County," by H. H. Fuson. Amanda, born 1856 in VA -- since she isn't listed in the above referenced Census, what happened to her, or did Mr. Fuson simply mistake the birth date? Millie, born 1866 in VA.
