I have never found a marriage licence for Nancy and Squire in Floyd County. Pike may hold one but i doubt it. Nancy never married a osborn but Francis her daughter used the Osborn and Patton Surname. Greenville her son only used Lawson. Joseph used Patton. I have researched to find who Nancy linked to for years and used your book in alot of my earlier research on who she may be. I do know in 1860 there were only one or two Nancy's Patton's in the age of Our Nancy. One was James Patton's Daughter the other was Frazier Patton daughter. In 1870 there is a Joel Listed as living with Frazier Patton whicjh i believe is Joseph Patton the son of Nancy. He is listed as 6 years old with Frazier. In the 1870 Joseph is listed with Nancy also but listed as Joel age 7. I believe he may have been living with both familie! s. If you have found any further on who the Joel is with Frazier i would love to know. Alicia

Mary Hubbard Goodman was the sister-in-law to Thomas Nelson instead of his sister. Thomas married Mary's sister, Alpha, d/o of Marshall Hubbard and Susannah Hammons. Thomas and Mary had a daughter named Mary, but she died at a very young age. She was buried at the Forks of Bull Creek Cemetery but was lated relocated probably to Richmond Cemetery in Prestonsburg when US 23 went through the original gravesite at Bull Creek.

Can someone verify that this is the same Virgina Hamilton.

Don Clemens Long - born 3 Feb 1924 and died 6 Jan 2002. Parents were Forrest Long and Dorothy ?. Forrest remarried to Nola ?. Nola Long was younger than Forrest - could possibly still be living and might be in a Nursing Home. Does any of this sound familiar? Don Clemens Long was born (we think) in Martin, Kentucky. The only Martin KY that I can find is in Floyd County. Please help! Carol
