    1. [KYFLOYD] looking for info on the Scott families and Howard families
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Scott, Howard, Moore, Clemmons(sp?), Warrens, Knapper (sp?)/ Knapier, Turner Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/pAB.2ACI/5129 Message Board Post: I still have alot of family in the state of Kentucky but alot of our history has been lost over time. First of all, we are looking for a picture of our great grandfather, Bev Scott. He was a deputy constable shot and killed in 1933. To this day, his youngest daughter has never seen a picture of him. So please, if you have any pictures or info on him, please, PLEASE relay it to us. Secondly, we are having a very hard time tracing back our mothers family (Beulah Howard Scott). Her father Ed Howard was a very widely respected circuit preacher who lived on Stonecoal Creek in Garrett. We can't find any info on him OR his family even though he, his seven brothers AND his father (Robert) were all very prominent ministers, founding several of the Freewill Baptist churches of their day. We know that most of the Howard brothers and "Grandpa Bob" were from Breathitt County, with roots going back to Oklahoma, but that is all we can get. HELP! If anyone at all can help us, it is SO important to this branch of our family. With both Mom and Dad (Everett and Beulah Scott) gone now, we have noone to ask anymore. Thank you in advance for your help, everyone. Deb Scott
