Birth or death? I'm very interested in whether or not Sarah was really a daughter of Joseph and Vina (Vinie). They are my g-grandparents and Sarah would be a great-aunt but no one has ever verified that she was actually a Crager. Also, I have seen Newt and Sarah's stones in the Shepherd Cemetery. Are you related to the Moore's, Crager's or Shepherd's? Christine

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/pAB.2ACI/5140 Message Board Post: Last Chance for Kentucky Death Certificate CD. I am putting the finishing touches on the Kentucky Death Certificate CD and it is set to be mailed out by Feb 7, 2004. There is still time to get involved though. If you have Death Certificates with a KENTUCKY connection, born, died or lived any part of their lives in Kentucky and would like to be a part of this project. E-mail your scanned JPEG death certificates to me at foe3643@mac.com The cost for the CD is $2.00 per CD (not death certificate) this will cover shipping and handling and the cost of the CD. The only stipulation is that you MUST donate atleast one death certificate to the project. However, the more each of us donate the larger the project will be. As of Feb 1, 2004 I currently have 1,800 death certificates that will be included on the CD. If this project proves to be a success I hope to continue it and put out one CD every six months or until there is no more interest in the Death Certificates. Anyone needing more information please feel free to e-mail me at the above address. And don't forget to drop by Tombstone Central: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~foe3643/ Cassy Sommers

Still a little unclear but very interesting. I have only been doing family research for a short time and I have never been able to get past Archibald. My father is Budge Moore son of Beverage...grandson of Harry Lee...great grandson of Archibald...To the best of my understanding, Archibald was married to Sarah Nolan. I have always heard that Arch had changed his name from Jackson to Moore. Recently, my father told me that he had always heard that Arch took Moore as his name because it was his mother's maiden name. I would love to get any information from you that you are willing to share...and I would be glad to share any information with you that I have... I live within a couple of minutes from the Archibald Moore cementary and was just on the cementary this thursday attending the funeral of Edd Moore! He was the son of John and Zella Moore!
