And he's giving you everything it says there. Alledgedly, they copied straight from courthouse records. So why not thank him for his efforts for you instead of berating him for not getting you info that apparently is not available? Also, you had a typo and said 1940 instead of 1840. And that year did not give a wife or child's name so I don't know where you got that idea. Why not go back to 1830 in Scott Co., and see what Conley's are there. Then go to 1840 and see who's missing. That would give you a possible name to further research.

My Grandma is the granddaughter of a William Mullins from Floyd Co. Ky. Her father is Tom Mullins son of William Mullins who is the son of a Dave and Elvina Mullins. Some of her Great uncles and aunts have the same names that you have on your list. Harry Lee, Bulter, Scott and so on also we think that there is another brother whose name is Cleveland.
