Zachariah Davis, who was Rev. war vet. lived in Bedford Co, VA for 12 yrs. after Rev. War and then lived in Powell Valley-Virginia or Tenn and then Sevier Co, Tenn. Then lived in Lawrence Co, Oh from about 1825 to 1840, then to Bradley Co Tenn and died in 1842 according to Rev. War Pension file. He applied in 1833 in Rome twp, Lawrence co Ohio. Jacob Davis married in 1818, Lawrence Co. Oh, Nancy Hedrick, lived in Meigs Co Ohio until moved to Pike Co Ohio and Died 1870. 2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: DANIELS, MARTIN, FRIEND, NEWSOME, JAMES, WHITE Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/pAB.2ACI/2825.2 Message Board Post: Hello, I am also looking for the Daniels family in Floyd County and surrounding Counties. In the Martin tree we have Angeline (Anne, Annie) Daniels who married Nathaniel Martin in Lawrence County Ohio on Nov. 30, 1871. All the info that I have been able to gather on her is that her Mothers name is Elizabeth B. ??? 19 JUNE 1880 PCT# 9 CARTER COUNTY,KY CENSUS 133 Daniel, Elizabeth W F 47 wd Keeping house K K K James W M 8 Son K K K Elizabeth is living right next door to Nathaniel and Angeline. I also have some info from my grandfathers bible that says Angelines brother and sisters are: James Daniel b. abt. 1872 Sarah Daniels b. ??\ Eliza Daniels b. ?? Sionia Daniels b. ?? Angeline Daniels would have been born abt. 1855 and in the bible it has this name attached to her. Angeline Salvaings M. Daniels. Now it is hard to read so I am thinking that the part that says Salvaings should read Salisbury. I see that the Salisbury(Salsberry), Martin, Friend, Newsome Daniels, James and White families were all together. These are a few surnames in My lines. Any help that anyone can give me would be wonderful. Angeline is my gg-grandmother. Thanks for any help. Sincerely Ann
