There seems to be some confusion in your query. You mentioned something about someone murdered in 1952 but you did not provide a name. 1. Re LOUANNA HICKS. are you sure you have the dates correct? I came across a LOUANNA HICKS born in 15 May 1866 and died 1-17-1941 She was married lst to JAMES REFFEITT and 2nd to WM. MARSILLET. Her death certificate identifies her parents as DOUG HICKS and OMA REFFEITT. Both marriages occurred in Floyd Co KY. Her burial was made in the Zoar Cemetery, Lawrence Co OH (This may be an assumption on my part as to her identity) 2. ANNA HICKS born in March 1849 and died in 1944 in Floyd Co KY. She was married 11-10-1876 in Floyd Co to JONATHAN W. WATKINS. He was born 7-16-1869 in Magoffin Co KY and died 3-11-1937 in Scioto Co OH At the time of his death he had remarried to Millie Bennett, Children born to ANNA WATKINS were SOLOMON (1883), BENJAMIN (1885), HIRAM (1887 - 1971), JOHN E. I am still working on the Franklins and I haven't made much progress. I will do some more researching during the holiday. Other than that I have made enormous progress on the Walkers! Do you know about a book called the West Family Register by Letta Brock Stone? There are several reeditions and in one of them it lists my grandfather, Frank Walker, as the son of James L Walker and Jane Hutton. It also lists his grandfather as John West Walker married to Elizabeth Franklin widow Hackworth. I am trying to find out which reedition has the info as I only obtained a copy of the page with the info listed. If you know anything about that, please let me know. Merry Christmas! I'm wondering if you found any more info on this family. I'm interested in their daughter, Louisa. Where was she in the 1880 census? I found her in 1900 married to Willie Sword. But, I cannot find her in 1880. Any help would be appreciated. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
