Neomy is either born about 1805 or 1815 if she is also listed as "Ony" or "Omy" in the 1850 census. Married at Sixteen maybe but not Six. Plus, if Ceatti's death certificate is correct and she's born about '34 to John and Sallie Prater, the '21 date seems unlikley. What's the source of the marriage date? I am interested in a Louise Adkins. My Louise is the mother of Sam Adkins...father is Sal Mullins (this is from Sam's SS Application dtd 1937). I recently connected Sal (Solomon) to the famous "Money-making" Mullins based on a photo of him online...the pic looks just like my father. I am 99% sure I have the right Solomon. But nothing on Louise. I have no clue who raised Sam because he doesn't show up in any census records until he marries Mary Bell (Hamilton) Roberts. There is a marriage recorded in Logan Co WV for 4-23- 1897 for a HENRY HALCOMB Age 30 "Widowed" (This is the puzzling part) Born in Owsley Co KY to a MARY VANCE Age 20 Born in Logsn. His parents: WM & E. BANKS. Her psrents: FLYD VANCE and ANN C.....? When I googled the name "William Halcomb Owsley Co KY" I came up with the genealogy of WILLIAM HALCOMB and ELIZABETH CHRISTIAN with a child of HENDERSON HALCOMB born in 1867.
