If your grandparents were Nannie Laferty & Willie Carr, then I believe we are related. I have old military pictures of you & some I'm not sure who they are. I have pictures of my grandmother Katheryn, Pricilla & Dewanda Carr. I only have 1 picture of my great grandmother Nannie. I have pictures of the Carrs with the George family. My Grandmother was Katheryn Carr George, she was married to James Luther George & lived in between Goshen & Middlebury(I can give you their exact address if you would like.) She died on November 19, 1988. She had a son James that died & she had 1 daughter named Mary Ann George who married Claude Long. Her siblings were Elwood Carr, Delmar Carr, Willie Carr Jr., Floyd Carr, Maggie & Mickey Carr. This family is from Kentucky. I am trying to do a genealogy book & I am just wanting to make sure that I have my facts correct on my grandmothers side. My name is Greg Harmon. Dolie Harmon was my grandfather. Most of what I know is what I've been told by my father (Dolie jr.) and other family. Most of whom have passed, unfortunately.Thats one reason I've been lurking on geneology sites, trying to fill in bits of family history. Dolie and another man ( a Wells) were ambushed by two brothers named Ike and Ebe Buskirk while trying to apprehend them somewhere on Daniels Creek. His wife, Doshia (Spears) was four months pregnant with my dad at the time of his death. My dad never saw his father. He was raised by his Mamaw and Papaw (Adam and Rebecca) until he was a teen, when he went to live with his mother and her new husband.
