(Thanks to the list admin for allowing me to post this). I am currently putting together a historical project for Arcadia Publishing, documenting some of the changes in Lexington over the past 150 years - the loss of the horse farms, etc. I am searching for old photographs of houses, schools, churches etc – buildings and places rather than people. I wondered if any of the list subscribers might have photos that I could borrow. ALL photos will be scanned electronically and then returned to the owners. Credit will be given as appropriate. While I’m on the subject, for those who are interested, the University of Kentucky has a fabulous collection of photos available for viewing online at the Kentuckiana Digital Library. The Lexington Public Library also has some wonderful photos but unfortunately no facilities for the public to scan or obtain them digitally.
