Hi I'm trying to track down this family. I have no idea where John and Susanah went, their children, etc.. Needless to say John and Susanah for a Murphy back then was not uncommon, lol. Her father was born in Virginia. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!! Susanah LEHUE m. John MURFY, bond date: 2 May 1797, bondsman, John Taylor, consent by father F[rancis] LEHUE, witness by Philimon Vawtors [?], Campbell Co., KY thank you! julie --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Juie, For what it is worth I think the name of that witness Philimon Vawtors is probably Philmomen WATERS. I am not connected with him/her but know the name from Charles County, MD, families. A Philomen B. WATERS sold land on Cartright Creek in Washington Co., KY in 1821. Witnesses were frequently family members. THANKS Joan! I was trying to figure out what that could be - I know of some VanNorts, and VanMeters, but they seemed too long - Waters works very nicely! Thank you!!!
