    1. [KYFAYETT] Question and help on an obit (1813) Pilcher, Russell and accidental death
    2. Winifred K Miller
    3. In the Kentucky Obituaries on page 12 it lists: "Joshua Pilcher, of Lexington. Died Saturday evening, March 13, 1813, when shot through the head by a careless volunteer, on parade. Mr. Pilcher was standing in the Markethouse at the time of the fatal accident". KG3/16 I am trying to find if this Joshua is the father of Benjamin Pilcher married to Mary Flint. My note tells me Joshua died 1810( unverified), however it could have been 1813. This could be a brother also. I do not know all the children of Mary Flint and Benjamin Pilcher. Harriet is mine married to Henry Clay Russell. There was a Mary and others I have as Benj and Mary Flint Pilcher's children. In 1816 I have a Mary Pilcher a widow 67 b in VA in Oldham County. Later Mary Flint Pilcher lived with Henry Clay Russell and Harriet Pilcher(her daughter). .
