Looking at all ROBINSONs of Fayette County before 1850; have information I'd be happy to share. My Robinson line in Fayette Co begins with Joseph Robinson of the David's fork area. His will was written in 1819 and probated in 1823. My line is through his son John Robinson (ca1779-1850) who married Sarah Berry of Clark Co in 1802. Another son of Joseph Robinson, Dudley Robinson, married Elizabeth Cusenberry (? of Bourbon Co) in 1809 and moved to Logan Co, Ky, about 1827. Children of John and Sarah (Berry) Robinson were William; Joseph; Boswell (b1808); Nancy (m Original R. Williams); Mildred A (b 1812, m John Prather); Elijah H.; Elizabeth (m Reuben Bryant); Thomas Berry; Mary Ann (m William Garnett); and Catherine. This family probably lived on Hancock Creek in Clark County until about 1826 when they moved to the East Hickman Creek area near Athens, Fayette Co. Thanks, Joan <[email protected]>
