There were GARVERs in the area of Champaign & Clark Counties in Ohio in the 1800s. I find some marriages into the ROHRER family -- they lived primarily in Mad River Twp, Champaign Co, and a bit south, in the vicinity of Tremont and Tipp City. I remember my grandparents mentioning friends/ relatives by the name of GARVER. I don't live in that area any more so I can't really check into this for you very well, but I could forward your query to the Clark-Champaign Co List?
