I'm new to the Fayette County KY list. Am researching Nell O'Brien, born in Lexington April 1886. Parents were John Porter O'Brien and Mary Catherine Smith O'Brien. Can anyone tell me which catholic churches existed in Lexington in 1886? I think both St. Peter and St. Paul existed at that time. Were there any others? Nell would have been baptized in one of them.
