Does any one have a town directory for the year of 1895 of the colliage ky and the surounfing area. I will gladely pay for coping expenses for such. ** Also does any one live close to the court house where the ( deeds for cooliage & pine Knott KY) would be kept. I need some one to look up deeds for 1).Charles Crabtree- to see if there is the name of the wife listed on one of the deeds. Charles father was William Crabtree - no names of wife's. any information on this crabtree family will be greatley appreacated and will exchange what I have on the dau Lucinda ( Sinder) Crabtree This line is up to living relitives of today, Maybe in some ones scarp book they have Charles obit - no ones has any idea when he died, we know he was living in the very early 1900's as the children remember going to there grandfathers in about 1910 or so, if this is any help/ 2) I need to see if there is a deed for John Orville Hodges Jr with ( wife ) Mary Hodges. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Also I know know for sure where to look for this but in Olean, Scott Co Tenn which is just over the boarder, from Whitley city according to the map I was lokking at. Hodges. it could also be spelled ( Hodge) also a marriage for Lucinda Hodges to a Lory Holcomb yr app 1896/8 Also in Scott co in Olean there was a lumbering comany called. Hodges & Hastings of white Pine was wondering if there might be a note worthy news item in some of the local papers. or in the directories. We are also trying to find the deed for the home of John Orville Hodges and wife mary in Olean or that area. I will be glas to pay for any coping fees and postage. if scaned that would be fine also.
