Can anyone tell me of the earliest newspaper(s) in Fayette County. I am trying all efforts to locate information about my gg-grandfather, DAVID RALSTON. I know of his burial location, which is in Harrison County, what the inscription on the tombstone says, but in the new printing I have of the History of Harrison County, the dates are different, and the author, William Perrin, states he was born in Fayette County, circa 1790. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Jim Ralston
