Dear Sherry, Here are your obituaries; "Mrs. Agnes Steel, relict of Robert Steel, of Lexington. Died Sunday morning Feb. 5, 1814 at an advanced age." Feb 21 Kentucky Gazette. "Col. William Steel, of Woodford County. Died in October 1826, aged 71 years. One of the first settlers of Kentucky." Nov. 6 Reporter. I found William and his family in Wm. E. Railey's History of Woodford County (as well as how Thomas Steele was born in Newton-Limavady Ireland, etc). If you're interested I could scan it & send it to you.
