Dear Ellenor, Seems the obituary wasn't for Henry, but for his wife. It appeared in Kentucky Gazette on June 23, 1836, and reads, "Mrs. Dorothea Coons, consort of Henry C. Coons, died June 4, 1836, aged 34 years." Roxanne
