We plan to go to KY to research our Noe Family, but we aren't sure where to begin. We have a John M. Noe that was supposedly a preacher and he eventually moved to Clark County, IN and died in 1844. He was born in ca 1795. On census records we find John M. living near John Noe. How can I find out if he is his son? The old census doesn't help with this.
