Like many inquires, I do a lot of research myself, but a recent post of cemeteries, in Jefferson County, KY I found the following at: > SOURCE: > _http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyjeffer/cems/germanreformedpresbyteriancemetery.html_ (http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyjeffer/cems/germanreformedpresbyteriancemetery.html) FOOTNOTES: #65. > 65. John Woolet, Sr., married first to Katherine Frederick, daughter of Andrew, married second 18 Aug 1831 to Elizabeth Lewis, widow of Michael, married 17 Mar 1839 to Mary Bullock, widow of Richard E. and daughter of Thomas & Susannah Graham. At this point I have no other data on identity of Elizabeth ? Lewis a widow of Michael, who became the second wife of Mr. Woolet, nor the identity of Thomas Graham the father of the 3rd wife of Mr. Woolet now buried in the Presbyterian cemetery. His wives seemed to be of short duration in the early 1800s. My inquiry is to see if there are any LEWIS or GRAHAM researchers on the list who may assist in the lineage of the LEWIS and GRAHAM families. In retrospect, to readers, the GRAHAM family name reaches back into early Kentucky pioneers, by way of N. C., from VA, from England and their marriages that made their homes in Clark County, Henry County, Green County, Fayette County, and migrations 1840s into early lands of MO using the then steam boats for travel from KY to MO. In Green County, KY the Graham name became and is still prevailing from the same Graham lineages. they have been traced back into early British Isles families. The MICHAEL former husband of Elizabeth appears to be a LEWIS by marriage. Has anyone a lineage of this MICHAEL? Was he a pioneer of KY or a son of a LEWIS pioneer of the 1790s? Appreciate any assistance. JOHN in CA (formerly of Louisville) ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
