Thanks Joan. I was reading some old letters of my parents during the end of August, beginning of September 1940 when they moved from Ohio to Lexington, and it mentioned they were moving into an apartment. Will ask someone if they could drive by 154 Woodland and take a picture and send it to me if they have a digital camera. You say it looks like a house. Could it have a house with an apartment? thanks, robert ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joan Boetger" <boetger@earthlink.net> To: <KYFAYETT@rootsweb.com> Cc: <rrothenbuhler@austin.rr.com> Sent: Thursday, May 03, 2007 5:41 AM Subject: Re: Apartment or House on Woodland Ave., Lexington > Robert, > > It looks like a house to me on this website. > I can't get a close enough look to confirm. > http://www.zillow.com/search/Search.htm?addrstrthood=154+Woodland+Ave&citystatezip=Lexington%2C+Kentucky&GOButton=%3CSPAN%3EGO%3C%2FSPAN%3E > > Also, go to this Google Map site at > http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ned=us&tab=nl&q= > then type in the address. > > Joan Boetger > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Robert Rothenbuhler" <rrothenbuhler@austin.rr.com> > To: <KYFAYETT@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Wednesday, May 02, 2007 11:54 AM > Subject: [KYFAYETT] Apartment or House > > > Hi List, > My parents lived at 154 Woodland Ave, Lexington in the 1940 timeframe. > Can anyone tell me if that address is an apartment or house? > > thanks, > robert rothenbuhler >
