Hello in Fayette Co....I live in Floyd Co, Virginia...I need help to help someone out in your county.........here is the mystery... A friend of mine, born about 1930 went to Transylvania in Lexington...she met and was engaged to a boy named Thurston Haskell Rhodus....later, they broke up and she gave him his ring back..she still has a self-portrait of him which she has had for 50+ years...I think he is deceased, and she wants one of his relatives to have his painting...I found on the SSDI where a boy born in 1928 died in 1977... last residence was Lexington...he was Thurman H.
