Robert, William Thomas and Hugh are all names frequently seen in my family lines, but I have not been able to find a definite connection to my family with these people. Here again are the people for whom I am trying to find answers (parents, siblings, birthplace, etc.)-- Hugh Steel Sept. 22, 1770-Apr. 19, 1828 (Likely born in PA, maybe Lancaster County; died in Madison, Jefferson, IN) Catharine Dunn May 2, 1771-Mar. 2, 1849 (Hugh Steel's wife) (Birthplace unknown, but could be VA or PA; died Madison, Jefferson, IN) Hugh Steel's father might be Joseph Steel (Joseph is also a very common name in my family).
